Is there a minimum for orders?

Our minimum requirement for order is $50.

How much will my cake cost?

Our serving & prices page has prices for cupcakes and base prices for custom cakes. The base price will give you an idea of cost for a standard custom cake with minimal decoration. Prices vary depending on flavor, filling and additional hours for the level of work required.

If you send us a design and party size, we can provide a better estimate of cost. Alternatively, if you provide us with a budget we can guide you on design options.

Is a deposit required when placing an order?

Due to limited availability and high demand, we require at least half of the order value as the deposit.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we deliver to the following post code in San Diego : 92128. Please get in touch to inquire about other areas in San Diego. We may be able to accommodate your request depending on our availability. The cost of delivery will depend on the distance and time of the day. We can give an accurate estimate when you place the order.

If you collect the cake, you assume all responsibility once the cake leave our premises.

Do you ship your products?

Unfortunately we don’t offer shipment of our products. This is partly because our cakes are made from scratch with no preservatives.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We encourage you to place order as early as possible. We suggest:
Cupcakes, Mini Cupcakes & fondant cupcakes: At least a week in advance
Custom Cakes: 2-3 weeks in advance
Wedding cakes and large occasion cakes: 1-2 months in advance

If you have a short notice order please contact us via email or call to check our availability. We try our best to accommodate last minute orders.

What methods of payment do you accept?

You can wire payments through our payPal page. We also accept cash payments.

Can I supply my own cake design ideas?

Absolutely. We will use your ideas as inspiration and aim to deliver a design as close as possible to your idea.

What is your payment policy?

Due to limited availability and high demand, we require at least half of the order value as the deposit when accepting the order. The remaining 50% is due to prior to delivery. Weddings and large special event cakes must be paid in full three weeks prior to the event date.

What is your cancellation policy?

We regret the deposit on Weddings and large special event cakes are non-refundable.

For other orders, we will refund the deposit in full if the cancellation request is received at least 1 month prior to the event date.

What is your payment policy on wedding cakes?

For wedding cakes, we require at least a 50% deposit when accepting the order. The rest must be paid in full three weeks prior to the wedding/delivery date. We regret the deposit on wedding cakes are non-refundable.

Do you offer consultation?

Yes, we offer free consultation for couples looking to place a wedding cake order. Please contact us to book an appointment.

Do you offer tastings?

Yes, we can offer a tasting session during your visit.

Is there a fee for the tasting?

We charge a small fee per person for the tasting session. However we will deduct this amount from the deposit if you decide to place wedding cake order with us.

How many people can I bring with me to tasting?

We can accommodate up to four people in our premises.

What are your opening times?

Elite baking is a home-based business. I do my best to accommodate my clients’ needs.

However face to face consultations strictly by appointment only. I am afraid I will not be able to facilitate those who arrive unannounced.
